If after a considerable amount of time on your journey you discover that the sights are not at all what you expected and the approaching destination is other than that which you desire, IT IS OK to pull over, take stock, change course and start moving toward the destination your heart desires. There is no shame in saying “I’m lost,” or “This is not where I want to be.” It’s ok to get it wrong or to be unsure. What is not ok is to keep going down an undesirable path because of fear or pride. Detours and stop overs are fine, as long as you are always moving toward a destination that you want. You only get one ride. So make sure it’s to where YOU truly want to go.
